"The Counter Proposal" is a tiny leporello book of 3,8 on 5,5 cm. It serves as poetic witness to a moment of precarity which led a group of artists to take on a debt they knew to be illegitimate. Crafted by hand in an edition of 15, the text is written by Léo Ravy and the cover was painted by Leslie Lawrence.
« The Counter Proposal » est un livre accordéon (leporello) miniature de 3,8 par 5,5 cm. Il est le témoin poétique d'un moment de précarité qui a conduit un groupe d’artistes à contracter une dette qu’ils savaient illégitime. Réalisé à la main en 15 exemplaires, le texte est écrit par Léo Ravy et la couverture peinte par Leslie Lawrence.
